Hey Guys,

Depending on Ivan I shoudl be heading back to FL on Wednesday. My husband has his bike now and I was thinking that maybe we should try a road trip next weekend maybe to Savannah or even Amelia Island or Daytona. I know that he is dying to ride once he gets back from AZ. Let me know what you think!

I would be willing but I am not going to get my hopes up. I'll wait this time till ALL the plans are laid.

Anyone doing any riding this weekend? I feel like doing something before the hurricane gets here later on next week and the bike has to go back in hiding.

I would be willing to ride down to Daytona, or maybe up to Brunswick or something. It really does not matter, just want to go somewhere.

Let me know if anyone is interested in trying anything. Can post here, or send me a PM and we can set something up.

I think she is posting for the weekend of 9-25/26. I may be mistaken, but if you look at the date on her post, she posted on thursday, and is not talking about getting back until wed. So I assumed that they won't even be in town until next week sometime.

However, I don't care where we post to get a ride going, lets get a ride going. =o)

I think that is the right date... but since I don't have a calendar in front of me, I am guessing. The man and I just chatted and are planning to go to an aviation museum in GA (I think around Savannah) that is right off of I-95, maybe doing lunch. He has wanted to visit it and figured it would be a great first trip on his bike. Anyone want to tag along?

The 25th I can tag along wherever you guys want to go but will be soloing it as the husband will be deployed for about 50 days that's the reason we are going to ride on the 18th pending IVAN. I am wondering when I should leave TN.... AAARRRGGHHH! What's up with these hurricanes, anyway? Is FL being punished for the hanging chad incident?

i'm sure we are being punished for much more than that :lol: although that could have been enough!
this morning it looks like ivan is going a little wider to the west than expected so it may just be way out on the panhandle or even further west. i am keeping my fingers crossed..................
