Think we should hookup before the weather turns bad on us. How about it?

Lamont
That sounds good to me. I'd like to meet some other Tn. x-riders. We can meet somewhere around The Gap? or Knoxville area? Someone suggest a day and time.

I think this is a great idea. The location needs to be around K-town. Sorry but the gap is a little out of my league at this time. Doing my safety course this upcoming weekend 17th-19th.
Lamont I just wanted to say thanks to you. I saw your bike at the Honda Hoot (in the rain, Friday) and was leaning toward a shadow or 1300 VTX. After seeing your bike I knew that I wanted to own a 1800. Waited for the right moment and got one of the sweet deals. Yes I'm a B*stard child but I love my X.
Thank You

Would really like to get together for a X Ride! I work a crazy schedule, so depending on the day I can or cannot participate.

You guys know where Amen Choppers shop is in Severville? That may be a good place to meet.

I worked in Pigeon Forge for 3 years, and am farily familiar w/Sevierville. That would be cool-already close to the mountains.

I don't know where it is. Could you give me some directions. I have been trying to stay out of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville and have been doing a pretty good job of it for several years. :D

I ride along with a couple VTX guys (Marvin and Cameron) as well as some Harley bikers. A ride thru the Mtns would be cool. We live in the Seymour area.

Amen cycles would be a good place to meet and go. I'm in Kodak and would like to meet other riders in the area as well.

Is Hensley's IGA the store that is at the intersection where you turn off to go to Norris Dam? (I'll be coming from Oak Ridge)
I'm gonna try to meet up with you there.

For those who want to meet in Pigeon Forge, bad idea....
There is a Corvette show going on up there this weekend, and, the traffic is gonna be thick....

...snip....
Yes, it is. The turn to the dam is actually a little before the store. Hensleys is at the light, which would take you into downtown Norris.
... Just to make sure we are talking about the same intersection; from Oak Ridge, come across Hwy 61, cross over I75, go through the first traffic light (441) and turn immed right into Hensleys lot.
See you there at 9am!!!!

I've had a bad turn of luck....
looks like I probably won't get to go tommorrow.
IF I can get my problem resolved,
I will make the Sunday ride from the Knox Honda shop.

We had a great ride. The Cherahala was closed due to a fatal accident. Parrish and a few friends waited it out, I turned around with a couple others from the Volusia Owners League and rode back to Cherokee and across to Gatlinburg, then home. Just shy of 300 miles for the day, 90% of it mountain riding. WooHoo !!!

The guys at work were talking about a poker run in Lafollette on Saturday afternoon. You might want to try to tie in with that? I don't know what my weekend plans are yet. I might have a hard time getting away.... I was gone ALL DAY last Saturday and I am going to Quaker Steak and Autumn on the Square (to hear Mindy Smith, woo hoo!!!!) tomorrow night. I am living on borrowed time with the wife!!!!
Anyone going to the free concert in Knoxville on Thursday???
