Covered Bridge Ride 04 benefiting Relay for Life
Saturday, September 18th
Registration: 10:00 AM
Ride begins: 11:00 AM
Leave from Palmer Engineering, 400 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, Kentucky.
Route: Clintonville Road to Bourbon County, then taking 57 into Fayette County and getting on Iron Works Road into Scott County, and Switzer Covered Bridge is just across the Franklin County line. The return route will take 460 to 60 where we'll take a pit stop near I-64 (several gas stations/food marts in that area). Then we'll take Old Frankfort Pike to Pisgah Pike in Woodford County and make a wide swing around Lexington thru Jessamine County and back into Fayette, getting on Cleveland Road over to US 60 and back to Winchester. On the return route, we cross Harrodsburg Road and Nicholasville Road, so we figured some people from Lexington might want to drop off instead of coming back to Winchester. We plan to do our door prizes before we leave, so people don't have to return to Palmer Eng. if they don't want to. Total route is 109 miles...
Donations suggested to the American Cancer Society. Donuts and coffee provided. For more information, contact Melanie at 859-744-1218 or 859-744-4121.
