It's great that the Georgia VTX riders now have a place to go for meeting new people to ride with and possibly get tips from. Glad to be here.

Good to see a board for us GA riders. I am currently riding with a group of mixed bikes. See a few VTX's around. How about everyone getting together to compare bikes and stories at Octoberfest up in Helen?

Nice suprise we have a GA board now. I was up in Helen a couple weeks ago. Next i want to tackle the Tail of the Dragon. I think it would be great to get riders from our area together so we always have options to ride with other VTX ers

Octoberfest in Helen? Didn't know they had anything going on up there. I know about the Baimbridge Bikefest this weekend, but I think it might be a little wet for that.
So, what goes on in Hlelen? Helen, Georgia that is? 8)

Do a google search for Helen, GA if you haven't already. I'm assuming from the sound of it, you've never been there before? It's kind of a neat place...the whole town looks like a German Village and the Chatahoochie runs right through it. Right up in the mountains so it's surrounded by lots of nice riding roads. Octoberfest is just a general "fest" for the whole town....not just related to bikes.

Good to see alot of us in Ga. Helen is a great place to ride and Octoberfest is a big thing up there.The town will be full of all kinds of "German","Alps" apprencees,much more than normal.The town looks like that anyway but the people will get into at that time also.We need to try to get up a ride where we can all hook up.Every body ride safe and free Frog

Me too. Anybody know what happened to him? When I first joined, he was pretty active on the boards and had some useful things to add. Rainman where are you?
