The Kansas Department of Transportation will again be sponsoring a motorcycle charity ride to benefit the United Way of Greater Topeka on Sunday, September 19, 2004.
The 2nd Annual KDOT/Flint Hills/Kaw Valley Poker Run event is open to the public and to all motorcycle makes and models. All proceeds go to the United Way. Area businesses have donated items to be used for prizes and drawings. Local media sources will be advertising and covering the event and it should be a good time for everyone.
Sunday, September 19, 2004 (raindate Sunday, September 26, 2004)
Registration at Noon, Ride starts at 1:00pm at Topeka Harley-Davidson parking lot, 2047 S.W. Topeka Blvd.
Donation $10 per Rider-All proceeds go to the United Way
After ride festivities-The Dugout Sportsbar & Grill, 1545 S.W. Fairlawn Rd.
Featuring Food and Drink Specials, Multiple Prizes and Drawings
