I am in Greensboro..... where is a good place to buy leathers in Central Georgia? Trust me, traveling is not a problem just do not send me to Valdosta.

I don't know about central ga. but they have some great prices up in helen. I bought a vented black water buffalo jacket for $112 and summer gloves for $5. Ya gotta ride the twistys anyway, Right? And just in time for octtober fest. come on up.

Yeah...I think I'd have to agree with what Mike said about the leather shop in Helen. Good bunch of folks there. I've bought from them in the past and been fairly happy.

Also, there's another shop in Pigeon Forge, TN that I like.

I heard of another one called "White Cotton" in Dalton that's supposed to be pretty good. A number of the guys I ride with say that's their preferred place to get patches sewn on and buy their leathers. I've not been there, but am planning on going...maybe this weekend?

We are probably going to play our f'ball game Saturday pm and I have class. I am interested in either place. It's been awhile since I have been up to Helen but am looking to take a big ride either next weekend or the following.

Sounds like you have been hit in the mouth by ivan worse than us. Hope all is well.

There is also a place in Austell called Cloths That Fit People the lady makes them herself'I had her redo a 50's jacket that was my dads and she did a great job on it.She also sews on patchs and I have known her to turn leather paints intp chaps and such as that. If you cant find the number give ne a shout and I will see if I can find her card.

The best deals are in Cherokee, NC....a good reason to ride the Dragon as well.

WE HAVE A NEW LEATHER SHOP IN BEMIS ABOUT 8 MILES NORTH OF VALDOSTA ,I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE YET BUT IF YOU'LL LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR I WILL GO CHECK IT OUT !
A GUY THAT USED TO WORK WITH ME OPENED IT AFTER HE RETIRED AND BECAME A BIKER .......
