The ride to NC/SC was so much fun in the spring, I'd like to extend a reciprocal invitation to our NC/SC bretheren to come visit us next month. We need to make this a semi-annual event.
Here's my suggested itenerary:
Saturday, October 16, 2004
-Meet in Helen, GA, approx 11:00 am.
-Have an early lunch, location TBD
-Ride to Road Atlanta to see the WERA Grand National Finals and Suzuki World Cup Finals in the afternoon - $25 ADMISSION

-Hang at Road Atlanta as long as you want Saturday afternoon. Leave at your leisure to return home. NC/SC riders can blast back up I-85 on the way home.
I'd suggest the GA riders meet up at Toosy's for the ride to Helen. I'll voluteer to coordinate times and route from this end. Someone in NC/SC suggest a place to meet and coordinate the trip from there.
I await your feedback. This could be a great day, great ride, good friends, and fast racing. Let me know if you'll come, or have some ideas to add.
Also, let me know if Sunday 10/17/04 would be better. That will be better racing at RA, but more crowded.
Edit: for those that don't want a late evening ride home to NC/SC...Tena and I are considering getting a room in Helen, and enjoy the evening there, after the races....great nitelife. Let me know I you want to do the same, and maybe we can get a group discount at the Helendorf.
