Vibration noise coming from VTX1300s headlight, any advise?

I took the headlight apart 3 times and tightened everything and tied the wires... Still have the noise and it's making me crazy :roll:

I have never had this happen but there are many posts on the board about it. Search for "headlight rattle"

hi there,
i have a 02 1800c had the same problem i just pulled the headlight apart and taped the wireing together . tried to keep it all in the center and it took the rattle away..

I have the same noise in my headlight. If I put pressure on it from the top while I'm riding, it stops. I haven't took it apart yet but that is next. It is kind of distracting. We'll get er fixed though. Thanks for the info. Bob.

Well it ended up being a fine crack on the bevil or ring around the headlight and it was covered under warranty so the dealer took care of it...good luck

Well it ended up being a fine crack on the bevil or the metal ring around the headlight I guess, anyway it was covered under warranty so the dealer took care of it... :wink:
