Eric Rush and I went for a nice, leisurely ride yesterday and low and behold, upon topping the crest of a hill we came upon 2 horses, 5 dogs, a pile of grass that looked like someone had just cut the back 40 and dumped their load right there in the street! We got through all of that and I'll be dadgummed if not 50 yards on up the street we had to dodge a dadblasted snapping turtle which had it's neck craned as it was meandering across the road! Eric has decided to see if Hal carries body armor for our next venture. Thus far we've hit a blue tick, dodged numerous other dogs, rabbits, squirrels, horses, deer and now a turtle! :D I'm looking for some small magnetic animals to start sticking on the side of my scooter, you know, kinda like notching your gun. :shock: Thought you'd enjoy hearing about the latest road "hazards".

And people wonder why I have a windshield and wear boots, gloves, and a full face helmet (and no shorts). Hell, that's just a normal day ridin out here is East Bum$uck Kansas!

I'm sure there have been people who have almost hit horses, dogs and possums but you are probably the first to have almost hit a snapping turtle. I'm sure D-mac has hit a few bass on some of his stream crossings but his don't count because of his tendency to travel the path less traveled. LMAO I need you to ride with all the time. You seem to be a magnet for animals and that takes the pressure off everyone else with you. :D :D :D If I were Becky I would seriously consider my own ride! Be careful buddy there are a lot of things out there that want to take you out!
