JAX area X riders

Transfering to Saint Marys GA (exit 1 ) any X riders in Jax and if so yall get together often?

There are several of us in the Jacksonville area and we are getting better about riding more often. We are usually game for most rides in any direction. We are planning a ride to biketoberfest this month. There are a couple of fine fellows in the Brunswick area ( Mike and David ). I sure you will be hearing from others.

Hey Rebelone and greetings from the token female of the group! Like Vortexx said, we get together as much as possible. I guess rides have been more frequent of late but having to dodge the hurricanes. Last night a group of us rode up to Fernindina Beach, had dinner, great conversation, and an awesome evening for a ride. The weather (other than the 10 minute shower that hit me on the way to the meeting place) was perfect. Hope to see you sometime!

Fathead, sorry I couldn't make the ride last night. Too much to do and too far away to make it. I hope you got word. The windshield went on last night. Looks awsome. Will try it today.

Vortexx, you were missed but we all understood but dude, you gotta get your priorities in order... shopping before riding?! :wink: . Thanks for getting word to me. Glad the windshield looks good and I hope it works for you. I think you will enjoy it. Just waiting on my Ultimate... ho hum. Hopefully next week as I will hopefully be heading down to either Dayton or Cocoa Beach to meet a friend for lunch. Anything for a ride!!

The ride down to Daytons When are yall planning on going. Talked to my wife a few minutes ago and told her i was comeing down that weekend to take her to Daytona. We can only stay thrue the afternoon but we are definetly going.

Stationed here @ NAS Jacksonville and live in Orange Park. Usually ride friday's in the afternoon and then when ever on the weekends. Had a an awsome ride Saturday and later that evening. Finally broke a grand on the odometer!!! YEAH!!! :D But alway's up for riding when the navy doesn't mess up my plans. :(

Wife is changeing plans on me. Not sure if we are going down FRI or Sat. That depends on when the Navy lets me off on friday. Whent to Myrtle this weekend you guys didnt miss much. I think the only thing there was cookie cutter customs and idiots. Hopefully there will be better in Daytona.

Don't worry. Just took some time away from the bike thing to regroup. The whole job-less thing is tough. Keep me in mind for some rides. I'll try to make it.
and....... Rebelone, welcome to the area. There were a few other X riding saltys at your new base in St Mary's, but I've not heard from them in months sence their deployment to who knows where? Give me a PM when you get in the area and we'll hook up. Dave Bynum and live in Brunswick and ride down your way frequently.

I've basically been a lurker on the N Fla board because most of my riding is done on a catch-as-catch-can basis. The weather and my weird work schedule have prevented me from scheduling anything. I did ride for a couple of hours Sunday afternoon with my daughter as passenger. I saw a few X's out and about including a two-up, silver 1300 at the Avenues mall. I believe it was the same guy I see in my neighborhood on occasion. Silver C, no helmet. Hope to meet up with some of you eventually.
