Anyone from Eastern Ohio heading over for this? I live in CT, but have family I plan on staying with that week. I'd like to get together with anyone interested in riding to this together.

Does anyone living in the Columbus or Marysville area have a phone number for the local Time Warner community service channel operator in Marysville? I am trying to get in touch with someone who we hope can video this event.
I have tried calling the TW service number as well as sending an email but no one has returned any calls.
I appreciate your help.

That number is for Time Warner Media Sales and the message directed me to the infamous voice mail hell trail. I have contacted our local access channel to enlist their help.
Thanks though VTX Candy Red :)

Ghost rider,
There is a group of us that will be heading down Thursday morning from the Akron-Canton-Cleveland area. Most of the group will be coming back Saturday evening, I believe.
Keep and eye on this site:
http://www.ohioxriders.com/
There will be threads by DonG about when and where for this. He is the chapter leader in our area and keeps us organized.
We'd love to have you meet up with us and head to Marysville.
Hope to see you on the ride,
TRHOD

MikeCongradulations on you're selection of motorcycles and welcome to the board. 8) If you look at the top of some of the pages you'll find sticky's. These can answer alot of you're questions, and, there is a RED search icon at the top, also, this can be quit a help. I had to experiment to get it refined and it doesn't always have the answer but it does help and again WELCOME to the madness and THE SMILE!!!!!!! 8)
Sound like fun, please keep me informed, Paul from North Olmsted

My wife just called and booked us a room. We'll be coming from Brook Park (Cleveland burb). Neither of us are crazy about interstates either so we'll be trying to map some other way to get there. I know my grandfather used to tell me about taking state route 42 all the way through Ohio and then some.
We wont leave until early Friday morning and then return sometime Saturday.

42 is a nice route from the north and the south. Also, bear in mind that the record ride will start leave the Wal-Mart parking lot on route 36 at 11:00 AM. Registration starts at 8:00 AM. If you come down 42 from the north it will take at least 3 hours. It takes about 4 hiurs to go up 42 to the Mid American Sports Car Course.

On online map tool I found (Map24) which allows you to specify "no Highways", it said my ride would be 3 hours and 1 minute for a total of 138 miles. We know we will need to leave like at 6:00AM to get down there with a little time to spare. We only want to spend 1 night - Friday and then ride back on Saturday.
I have never taken 42 very far out of Cleveland, so it's good to hear that its a nice ride!
Hope to see ya there!

42's a nice ride south with lot's of small towns but if you get away early you should be able to cruise right thru, once you get south of medina it's clear sailing.
Were comming back on Saturday afternoon but no route selection has been made yet and your more then welcome to join in with us on the way back. Last year we took the freeway south but I'm going to look at other routes south this year, I'll check with the other riders and get some ideas on routing they'd like.
Also check the http://www.ohioxriders.com/ message boards, thats where most of the activity is on the rides and activities. This is kinda like a secondary board and info might not make it here.
