Cassoday KS Run

:D Wanted thank eveybody who braved the cold air and made it up to Cassoday Sunday. Had four new X-riders make the trip Allen & Christy from Abilene and Papa Joe & Sharon from Wichita. Also Doug and Patty from Wichita and Travis and Sue from Mulvane made the trip again this month. It was good to see all of you Judy and I are ready to do it again. Ride safe eveyone, later. CC

My bro and I rode down from Manhappiness, on Saturday eve to Cottonwood Falls, until we found a place to throw down our tents, spent the night there and rode on into Casseday for Breakfast, It was a little chilly, but well worth it. Great camping weather..
Sure was good to see all the Xs down there, I feel they were well represented. I wish we would have met all of you guys I was just able to stumble on to a few.

It was a ton of fun as always. We enjoyed the day and the company. I saw Green's and a couple others' bikes in "town" but didn't see the crew. Nice to know they made it though. Maybe next time some little blond (who will remain nameless :lol: ) will get her stuff together a little earlier so we won't be late LOL. See ya all.

It sure was nice to meet all those who made the trip. We enjoyed getting to know everyone a little bit. Now we have a face to go with the names. The ride down wasn't the warmest but the ride home was excellent. We ended up taking the time to go to Council Grove and on through Dwight on the twisties. We will have to do it again if the weather cooperates???

We looked like a bunch of eskimos at McDonalds...lol Thank god for hot chocolate and egg mcmuffins.....lol It was good seeing you all again as well. I wish the toy run would have been a bit better planned, but I guess they had their reasons for doing it when they did. We are looking forward to our next trip......I am not ready for the cold weather just yet.....I think I may have to put in a word or two with the big guy....lol Later T

Sharon and I enjoyed meeting everyone. We ended up riding to Council Grove for lunch and then decided to go up to Topeka by way of Hwy 4 to see the grand babies. Came back down through Emporia on Hwy 75 then took 99 to 54 and back to El Dorado and on in to Wichita. Needless to say it turned into a long day for us. It was about 360 miles by the time we got home. It certainly was a good day for a ride. We look forward to getting together again.
