I have been in San Diego area with my VTX met some vtx riders & they were telling me in the state of CA. turns signals not manditory but should use hand signals. and that speedo not needed. I noticed some custom bikes looking really sharp eithout the extr hard ware & cables What is GA law reguarding turns & speedo's /

if you want all the laws pertaining to motorcycles, download this pdf file, which is Title 40 of the O.C.G.A. (Official Code of Georgia, Annotated)
http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/GaCode/Title40.pdf
then do an edit..find..and put in the word 'motorcycle'. You will get about 20 or so hits, which covers all the state law pertaining to Georgia motorcycles. Amazing stuff

I'd be a little weary of "Laws 4 Hogs", I found a few errors and interesting omissions.
Turn signals are required equipment
40-8-25.(c)
No person shall sell or offer for sale or operate on the highways any motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer registered in this state and manufactured or assembled after January 1, 1954, unless it is equipped with mechanical or electrical turn signals meeting the requirements of Code Section 40-8-26. This subsection shall not apply to any motorcycle or motor driven cycle manufactured prior to January 1, 1972.
No pointed Sissy Bars
40-6-314.(b)
No person shall operate any motorcycle with handlebars more than 15 inches in height above that portion of the seat occupied by the operator or with a backrest more commonly known as a sissy bar that is designed in such a way as to create a sharp point at its apex.
No light Bars
40-8-22.(b)
Every motorcycle and every motor driven cycle shall be equipped with at least one and not more than two headlights, which shall comply with the requirements and limitations of this article.
Two brakes are required
40-8-50.(c)
Every motorcycle and motor driven cycle manufactured after January 1, 1974, when operated upon a highway, shall be equipped with at least two brakes which may be operated by hand or foot.
