To get the right answer is better to post the question on the Tech Board, but when I installed my 3"Straights, I had big pops during decel.
Some people told me that if you disconect the battery for 1/2 hour, and then conected, the computer will learn the new set up, never tried so I don't know
Great bike, my Retro is the first one in Jax, took delivery on December 2001.Closing in on 30.000 miles.... :D

You may not need a fuel manager with just a pipe change. I don't with the RH shorty. I'm still running rich. The idea to check on the tech side is a good one but first read this.
http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28918 It's the "sticky" at the top of the tech page. Good Stuff.
Hope this helps.
