Saturday, November 20, 2004, Riding from Brunswick, Georgia to St. Augustine, Florida. Will honor Brunswick Ofc. Collins who was killed in the line of duty in 2003, while preventing an armed robbery. Also will honor other officers killed in the line of duty from agencies of which jurisdictions we will be riding through. Names displayed on event t-shirts.

There will be drawings for prizes and 50/50 at the conclusion of the ride. Tickets $1.00 to $10.00.

We will be joining the Jacksonville Electric Authority's "United Way Ride" (250+ bikes) in Jacksonville. Their ride consists of fifty-one (51) miles. At the end of that ride JSO will deliver us to A1A where St. Johns County S.O. will pick us up and take us on in to St. Augustine.

Also participating in our ride will be members of the S.E. Ga. Chapter of the American Legion Riders Club, Houston County Sheriffs Officers, Southern Cruisers Riding Club and St. Augustine Chapter of the Blue Knights. IT SHOULD BE A GREAT RIDE!

A good number of riders have already made motel reservations for that night and will be riding back together on Sunday, the 21st. No police escort on return trip. Anyone needing motel or further ride information can contact me at (912) 280-1212 or email: dseawell@brunswickpolice.org

And finally, there will be a low country boil the night before the ride at Salvador's Deli, 205 Gloucester Street, downtown Brunswick. Plates are $10.00 donation. Even if you don't partake in the ride Saturday, come join us Friday night. Serving starts at 1830 hrs.
