Was a near perfect day to be out on the bike today. I headed down to Annes and another VTX pulled in almost at the sametime. We talked, hung out and had some hot dogs and shakes. Thought we were the only ones to show up then 4 more bikes showed up. Pretty good turn out for the first meet. We had four VTX 1300's, one 750 ACE, and one Kawasaki. As we stayed and talked about the bikes looking at what others have done or want to do to theirs, a couple of umm not sure how to decribe them, but very unusual ladies showed up and seemed to be having a better time than us. I'm not sure what they were on, but they should have passed it around. Afterwards we decided to go out for a ride.

The guy with the Kaw had things to do, so he didn't go. The lady with the ACE took her bike home so she could ride with her husband on his 1300C. Leaving the ride with four bikes, all VTX's. Jim with the silver 1300C knows the area very well led us on what was the best road I have ridden on since I moved here 2 years ago. We rode down to the Pax River area and stopped for a break before heading back. Then something very strange heppened. We met 2 more ladies that acted the same as the ones we met at Annes. It was then we realized that both times these ladies seemed to single Jim out as their favorite in the group. So it seems that Jim attracts them ine some strange way. It was a good laugh, guess you had to be there.

We went back the same way as we came. Seems we picked up the pace a little more this time. So much so, that I scraped my footboards for the first time since buying the bike. Was alot of fun. It was a great day. Everyone that was there today was great. I look forward to doing it again soon, perhaps we can get a bigger crowd yet next time.

I apologize for not remembering everyones names, I'm not very good with remembering names.

Here's a couple pics.

Tim, I was wondering how you were going to tell that story! I wish we had a tape recorder! Great pics, too!

I would like to add to the story:

1. That the mashed up blue car you see in the background is the one these, um, ladies, came in.

2. That we were sitting in front of the Waysons Bingo Palace when the second set of, um, ladies, appeared. Don't ask me why we stopped there!

3. I publicly deny any and all responsibility for attracting these, um, ladies.

4. That I was almost squashed by a woman in a cage on the way back. Sheesh, women! They either love me or try to kill me! :D

Great day, great folks, let's do it again.
(perhaps without the, um, ladies!)

What a day! Great company, fabulous weather and a great "tour guide" to boot! (Thanks Jim. The route we took really gave us a chance to see how the VTX handles curvy, country roads.) The um, ladies, certainly were the "icing on the cake". It was absolutely unbelieveable that it happened not once, but TWICE!

(This is the lady with the ACE using hubby's id.) I love my bike but new there was no way I could keep up with "the big dogs"! The VTX sure is a sweet ride - even from a passenger's perspective. (Stock seat has to go, though!)

Tim, you certainly had your work cut out for you to put the story into words for those who missed out! Great camera work catching the um, laides' vehicle. I wonder what will happen at the next meeting?!

Wow, sounds like I missed an excellent adventure. I was stuck out of town and missed the first ride. I'm hoping I can join you guys at least one time before the dreaded winter sets in. Great pics and great story.
