Riding the weekend of 10-16

Nah, I rode to Alaska last weekend and I hate to go the same place two weekends in a row.

Hey Vortexx (FSU, Fathead) and anyone else I have or haven't ridden with over Jax way, I was hoping to ride over early on a Saturday, shaping up to be after Biketoberfest, probably the 30th, and ride with anyone that's interested, back across the state showing some of my favorite roads and twisties all down through horse country, eating at Peck's out on the Ozella Trail just south of Crystal River. A cram course in the best roads I know. Think about it.

As far as this weekend, I'm leaving Gainesville early to head down to Tarpon springs and join the X ride that's coming together out of there, Breakfast at 10 or 10:30. 5 Canadian VTX'rs are joining some folks from the Central Florida board and they've got an excellent route planned. Anyones seats working well enough for quite a ride. If so, we could meet over my direction and beat a path down there early. It's a stretch but I thought I'd throw it out there in case you all don't check the central florida board. I'm kinda in the middle.

Hey Vortexx, I'll call you tomorrow night. (Wednesday). Central Florida posted they are going to all meet at 10AM on this Saturday, the 16th, at a Bob Evans at 19 and 19 alt outside of Holiday Florida. Based on a mapping program, thats 2.5 hours from Gainesville by way of 75. If we wanted to take some great roads I know down there, it would take about 3 hours unless you don't mind significant speed. That means we have to leave Gainesville by 7 or 7:30 AM depending on the route if we wish to eat with them. That's no problem for me, but that puts the load on anyone coming from Jacksonville way. Talk to you tomorrow night.
