i saw a couple other x'ers at the celebrate life ride in olney. it was a great day for a ride for a really worthy charity. celebrate life provides a camp for local kids with cancer. they really need alot of help, so if you can come on out next year. they had a nice lunch spread by outback and plenty of krispy kremes and starbucks...

one cool thing i saw was the BIGGEST DOG I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! we were coming south on 94 towards olney and on the right was a farm. in the pasture from afar i thought there was lonely bull laying down. then i thought, no it's a horse. poor horse, my daughter said they are sick if they lay down. as we get closer it is a big chocolate brown dog, had to be 6 feet from nose to ass and 200lbs or more. it was humongous. i didn't realize dogs got that big! i wonder what kind it was...

it was good seeing a few other x riders and wingers in the sea of harleys. all the harley guys were really nice, and everyone had a good time helping out a great cause.

Sounds like yesterday was a great day, I was wishing I had stayed in Maryland yesterday when I was stuck in the parking lot that we call I-70 eastbound. But on the plus side, I got off the interstate and took some nice back roads between frederick and ellicot city. You guys that live out that way have it made.
