Old man Winter is on us.....(No, I am not talking about Doug....lol) We should try and get something together for a "last run" before it is freezing...Anyone been up to the Carriage Crossing in Yoder? Its good food and the trip is mostly highway, but its nice open road and usually not much traffic. maybe we could find a near weekend that works for us and make a lunch run or something....watcha think?

Last run? Ya big sissy! LOL We did about 150 miles last Saturday morning. Oh that's right...we have windshields lol. Yoder is an easy run. We went to Hutch to the Cosmosphere awhile back. People at work claim Carriage House is good stuff. I don't know about this Saturday but let me check with the boss. Her Dad is turning 75 this weekend and she has a big shindig planned. But, we ought to do something before you wimp out on us. :D

Hey, this weekend won't work for me either, but I am open after that.
The Carriage House is a good place to eat. A run there on a Sunday (weather permitting) would be good. And since it is closer to me that Cassoday or other places (about 1.5 hrs), I can probably make it. So keep me posted.

Haaahaa JayhawkX...you da man! I've had "hot chocolate" in Hooters in 9 different cities. My personal preference is the one in Newport Beach, CA. It's sits right on the water lol Hope you all are doing well up in your neck of the woods.

Unfortunately we are unavailable for the next 3 weeks. We did an 800-mile ride into Southeast Oklahoma this past weekend knowing it may be our last long ride of the season. I also noticed most of the road signs in Oklahoma were spelled correctly and hung upright -LOL...

Well, I see that we are ALL comedians here at VTX Central.....lol We rode last night for a bit. Looking at Halloween day as a possibility for a short trip....Anyone in for a noonish run somewhere?
Kansas
10-19-2004, 10:49 AM
Sign me up for Halloween. I'm pretty sure we could do that (weather permitting of course). I'll type this slow so some of you can read it....Daylight Savings Time ends that day so "noonish" will be "elevenish" LOL. Hey by the way...if any of you want to see one of the best guitarist in Wichita play his last show here, check out Sinergy at Jerry's Bar & Grill this Friday or Saturday. This whole band is awesome but, this guy rocks. He's decided to hang it up. The "new" guy replacing him...even better if that's possible.

Sue says we will risk it and be seen in public with the older generation....lol Mom did teach us to respect our elders....lol (I am on a roll...lol) Where's a good place to meet? And is Yoder cool with ya, or do you have something else in mind?

OH Dude! You are in sooooo much trouble. When I tell Patty you called her old....man I wouldn't want to be you  Hahaaa Yoder is fine by us. Does anyone know for sure if the Carriage House is open on Sunday? I have never been there so I really don't know. As for a meeting place...let's see who all wants to get together and then decide. If you and Sue want to, you could just come to our house. It's sorta on the way.

I thought Patti was your daughter? Is she old enough to even have a motorcycle license? (officially sucking up....lol) I talked with some guys who ride at work and they would like to join in the ride if we are able to do it. I hope the weather will be good to us.....

BigMeyer,
So what is the plan? Last I heard, it was a ride to Yoder for brunch. Is that still a go? And is the tentative date Sundat the 31st?
Let me know the plans and I'll try and make it. I'll also try and talk the wife into coming, although I have my doubts at this point.
