which tire is better

looking at my next set of tires and was just wondering which tire more people like better I know some of you are running these tires and most of you go through alot of them.... So I need to know is it avon venom or metzeler?

Either one, both are much better than the Dunlops. In all conditions, I see the Metz on most of the Xs and is on my X. I am thinking about going with the Avons next year though. Like I said, either brand will be a mojor improvement. 8)

The Metzler rear only lasted me about 8K ( I have had 2) about the same as the stock Dunlops so I am going to try the Avons as I have heard they last quite a bit longer.The Metzlers do handle well.

Avon Venoms with 7K on them and not even any ware yet. I'm not hard on them though.
I went thru 3 sets of Dunlops( THEY SUCK ).

Metz or Avon, I know lot's of the guy's have metz and are happy. Kinda hard to know how long they last doing Burn outs :roll: ( SKINNY ) :D .

What you fail to see is Skinny ain't the only one smokin the Metz! There is someone next to him showing him how it's really done correctly. 8)
