First of all, thanks to LaMonster for getting us UK VTX riders our own little piece of VTXOA Heaven. :D
Secondly, thanks to VTXOA for being such a feature-packed, interesting, incredibly helpful, entertaining, must-view every-night (almost), funny and honest place to discuss ideas, and ask for help. :D :D
Thirdly, come on boys, it's awfully empty here, so fill this space up! :D :D :D

So for all of us uninformed, give us a run down on riding in the UK.
Weather?
Days riding per year?
Weekend rides?
Best spots/Worst spots?
What is it like to ride on the WRONG side of the road? :D

Ride Safe
Weather: mostly rainy or cloudy, if neither of these, then dark.
Days riding per year: about 2 , but may be cancelled at short notice if any of the conditions above prevail.
Weekend rides: mostly to the supermarket in the car.
Best/worst spots: not found any yet.
Actually we drive on the left which is the right side of the road...
Seriously though, weatherwise, our biggest enemy is DAMP, you can ride all year round, but basically you always have to have your waterproofs with you if you are going any distance.
The best rides to be had in my opinion are those where you take to winding country roads on a hot summer day, but then I also live by the sea, so there are plenty of great rides to be had right on my doorstep.
One thing I will try and take piccies of next year is the meet at Poole Quay - have a look here:

... about 2000 to 3000 bikes every Tuesday night in summer.
