Hey everybody, I posted this on the Central Florida board and VorTeXx suggested I get it up over here also. This should be a great ride and worth getting to so I hope you give it some consideration. VorTeXx replied he plans to be there.
I also have another ride I've been writing VorTeXx about for North Florida folks that we're thinking of trying on Nov 6th, or maybe even two days. I'll be getting that post together soon, maybe yet tonight. Hope to see some of you in Daytona.
(We had 19 riders and 17 VTX's on the 16th's ride.)
[quote="Pegs"]With the 16th's ride ending to beat the cold (sunset), there was some interest expressed in hitting a bunch of good roads again soon. Two weeks on the 30th was thrown around so let's see who's coming with us.
The following is a route that is 239 miles of some excellent roads. Very achievable if we get an earlier start (8 or 9am), have lunch (probably Salt Springs), and have a good number of the 10 or 15 minute variety of breaks.
These are good scenic and fun roads. If you haven't experienced them all before, you ought to take this opportunity.
The route is written as starting in Brooksville and ending just above there. I'm not aware of any plans after the ride so everybody would probably just drop off where it's most convenient for them (unless somebody makes plans).
Those folks responding earliest have the greatest influence on exactly where to meet and what precise time so give us a good suggestion.
