Hey T,
Sounds like a plan, I'd be interested. I've never heard of Yoder. Where will we be meeting? Ya know, your sounds VERY familiar to me. Do you work in Wichita? That's where I live, been here for about 2 and a half years, came from NW Arkansas, to work for Cessna.
Anyway, talk to y'all later.

Hey nate. I am in Wichita also. I ride with the Wichita Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. We have a dinner ride this coming Thursday that you are welcome to attend. We meet at the Kmart at Broadway and 47th south on the North side of the parking lot at 6:15. We typicly leave around 6:30-6:45 for a ride and then dinner. Any questions send me a PM and I will get you a phone number to contact me directly. No pressure to join and all bikes are welcome. Alot of spouses attend too. We currently have two X riders in the chapter and the more the better. We do have to wait on the Harley riders from time to time but we put up with it. Hope to see ya there. Our web site is www.Jesus-Team.com (http://www.Jesus-Team.com) check it out. Just got back yesterday from a week of riding the hills in your native Arkansas around Mena. Had a blast and scraped the peggs a time or three. :D

Welcome aboard Nate. It's a great bunch here...even Travis. We do have to ride slow and speak slow for him to keep up but, it's worth it. LOL

Hey folks,
Really looking forward to meetin you guys of we ride this weekend...any excuse to get out and putt around on my new jewel. Where do y'all usually meet to go ride? Here's an interesting one: my buddy from work also bought an X the same day I did, an '03 C. Last night we were riding and it just wouldn't hold an idle anymore. He said he had to really make some turns on the idle adjust, he says all the way up, to keep it running. You would think it would be a very high idle, but it wasn't. Anyway, he got it home, and adjusted it down about half a turn before giving up. It only has about 300 miles on it (mostly put on from riding them back from Chickasha where we bought them). Any clues or similar problems out there?
P.S. Anyone have any good accessories websites they'd like to share?

Hey Nate. I have no clue on the problem but, you might try posting it on the Tech board or searching for "bad idle, idle problems, etc" (not where it says "google". Use the "search" icon). So far, every time we all have gotten together to ride it has been to head to Cassody on the first Sunday of the month. So, we usually meet along the way. Some in Douglass, some in Augusta, etc. But, this time we will need to pick a spot to meet once we decide where we are going to head to. I'm checking on a couple places and will post later.

Nate, I have had some idle problem as well, but mine just happens when the weather is cold. You just have to tinker with it some and play with the choke vs. idle especially in the cold. He may have gotten some bad gas too. If he rode using the gas from the dealership, that may be the issue. They use gas that usually sits for long periods in different containers with different crap in them and sometimes you get some dirt, grime, etc in there. I would drain or clean out the tank or add a fuel additive and play with the idle some before I started planning on repair shops etc. But Kansas had a good point, hit the tech boards and see what others say. After all, I am a goofy redneck from the sticks...lol
