But we had a good ride anyway. We ended up at Applebees in Newton. The weather worked with us until we left Doug and Patti's, then ol' Mother Nature took a piss on us and I got soaked and Sue...well, she needed a shower anyway....lol Met some new X'ers but I will let Tim introduce himself when he SIGNS UP!!!!! Sorry Christy and I could not meet you this Sunday. We attended a motorcycle safety course in Topeka so Christy could get her license. I went as well to refresh my "OLD" Memory cells on some of the basics. It was a very good course and Christy passed with flying colors. She will legally be able to steal my bike now!!! Oh my God I guess I will have to get her one of her own very soon. I even learned a thing or two over again. I would highly recommend this course to any new rider. There were 12 other students that as of Friday evening could not start a bike. By this afternoon they were doing U- Turns and weavoing through cones and making panic stops like pro's.
Any way we hope maybe if mother nature will cooperate we could do another ride and meet somewhere.

Like Travis said, it was great getting together for our little jaunt. Always nice to hook up with friends new and old. Oh sheesh...did I just say "old"? Here we go again! Hahaa. Hope we can all hook up again before I have to hang my helmet up for awhile. I'll be on one leg for about 6 weeks so we need to ride the next couple weeks. And of course..they are predicting freezing weather. :) Thanks for getting this together T. See ya all soon.

Welcome aboard!!!! I think we can put something else together before it gets really nasty. I will be glad to see Charlie get back with us when he can. I don't think I will be making Cassoday or the Wichita Toy Run as i have my kiddos and two birthday parties to attend, but I should be able to make some and hope that I can roll up with some fellow X'ers....Later...T
