Just wanted to say "hey" to you dudes and gals in and around Salt Lake. Three of us recently purchased our new 03 1800's (2-C's; 1-R) in Missouri, and are trying to see who can put on the most miles before we're done for the winter. I must say that Kevin is leading the pack, but I'm tryin'! I look forward to hearing more from you Salt Lakers and such, and maybe hooking up for a ride or two in the future. Stay cool.

So are all three of you from SLC? and you bought your VTX's from Missouri? did they ship them to you? or did you all ride them back from Missouri :?:

Just wondering, regardless this is sweet we're getting people from UT together.

Welcome to the board. Four of us purchased 1800's from Columbia, MO this summer. Two R's, one S and one C. We need to get a group together when it warms up. Also, some of us on this board have been talking about a tech session to help/observe each other. There are quite a few VTX owners here in Utah.

I think I saw you on main street also. Love the retro's looks (mine's orange), and my buddy, Kevin Baker, rides a black C. We went up there for sometning to to, and to grab a bite to eat. I'll take a trip up Parley's any time - 80 mph at the summit just feels good! I gotta admit, that blurple is a great color on the retro. Kevin is having a flame job done on his this winter, and I'm hoping to do some paint after I add pipes and get some other goodies for long distance cruising. Nice to meet you on the board!

If I don't hear from anyone, about coming out around Tooele today, I might drop by too around noonish. I have to go for a ride today. 3300 south and 710 East correct? At noon? If plans have changed how about a phone call 755-8777 (801 area code, not a long distance call, is a cell phone).

Just joined the board. Glad to hear there are a few riders from Utah on the board. Looks like today is a good day for ride. I may try and come up there by noon if there are going to be people there.
I've only had my VTX for 2 months but love it. Like many here I also got mine in Columbia. Haven't done anything to it yet.
