FYI: This email was waiting for me when I got home this evening.
Remember...Sunday, November 7th, 2004 is the 4th Annual Bikers on Parade for the USA! Registration and staging for the parade will begin at 10:00 AM at Santa Fe Community College, the ceremony begins at 12:00 noon and parade at 12:30 PM. The parade will be 21-miles through Gainesville ending at Gainesville Raceway for the Motorcycle Drag Racing AMA Prostar World Finals! Our web site, www.bikersonparade.com (http://www.bikersonparade.com), has the rider release forms you can download and have filled out for the day of the parade.
The entire parade will end with a ride down the service road in front of the Grandstands. ESPN 2 will be televising Prostar and has offered to do a segment on Bikers on Parade! How exciting!! All donations will go to the North Central Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross. We raised $16,000 last year with 1300 bikers and with everything The Red Cross has had to deal with this year, we hope to far exceed that number!
There is $10 min. donation/person to ride in the parade. You will receive a wristband at registration which will give you a $10 discounted admission to Prostar. (Regular admission is $20.00) If you know you want to attend Prostar, they have released their wristbands to us which can be purchased at the registration table at Santa Fe. That way, when we get to the track, you won't have to wait in line.
The TV, radio and print PSA's are all running. Please share this e-mail with your riding buddies from all over the state and encourage them to join you! We are extremely excited and can't wait to see you at the parade!!!
