Hey VorTeXx,

If I were to be at Solana and A1A in Ponte Vedra about 9AM this Saturday morning, would you be interested in finishing the route as an inland ride to Daytona followed by a Coast return with a swing up Ormonds loop?

I haven't seen any rides being posted and wondered if you and others were available.

Yup I could do that. Let me know. I can't speak for any of the others. There doesn't seem to be a lot of posting going on. I don't know what happened to them and one or two are missing in action. How is Tina?

It's a ride then. I will be there at 9AM Saturday Morning and we'll have another one of those beautiful October day rides.

I PM'd Tina and didn't get a response but Sonny said she was a little bruised and had a broken little toe. I saw a post from her, Brandongirl, on the main forum, about her having gone down and wondering if anyone had some handle bars. It looked like fellow VTX owners were going to take care of the bike parts she needed, so that's good.

It should be a great ride tomorrow (Saturday 6th) and to you other North Florida riders, you're welcome to join us. See you there VorTeXx.

Sounds great but I'm working late tonight and I'll sleep late tomrrow. I rode to Daytona today and exchanged a jacket that I bought during Biketoberfest. What a nice day to be on two wheels. Anyone riding Sunday?

It would have been good to have you along. I had a great time and I believe XRated and VorTeXx had a good time.

I might have kept VorTeXx out too long and he may never be able to ride with me again but heck, if he can't make it home from Eustis in an hour and a half... well maybe that is a little tight but the ride was good.

I believe your name came up as someone we should ride around the georgia coast with sometime in the not too distant future. I'm told I would like the roads and the company. Look forward to it.

Sorry I didn't get these post. We had a great time and a great ride (once I found the guys). I must say Pegs does know some great roads. Suffered wind burn trying to get home and I am sure "X-Rated" did too. I can't believe I was only 15 mins late. Sixty miles south of Palatka to Jax in just over an hour and a half. I think the police are still looking for us. "Loopy", it would have been good meeting you. Michael!!!!! what can I say, YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!!! Please guys and gals lets get together soon, time is shorter than you think.

VorTeXx,
Was 15 minutes close enough or did showing you emerald island road get you in a lot of trouble?

I'm setup to take Sonnybusa around that big loop of roads out of brooksville on the 13th. Other than that and that I'm a weekday worker I'm ready to show for a ride of the islands. Sounds great.

Actually it worked out good, however, she did not wait for me and I had to drive myself but that is ok, the reason I ride bikes is for the solitude and driving alone in my truck works too.

Got a little more info on that bike wreck.
The 2 people on the GoldWing were killed instantly. The reason we were waiting so long was some woman on another bike came up on the wreck an hour later and also crashed, and she had to be airlifted out of there.
I assume we were waiting on that 2nd wreck.

Mike, what is "Q"? Is that like Brunswick stew?

Sorry to hear about those deaths and injuries. That is two weeks in a row I have been in the area of crashes.

You have to understand the boys in Georgia can not spell the whole word and Q is close for them. They not be as refined as us in Florida, we have learnin.
