I have put up a web page of the ideas for the patches and shirts for the Indiana X Riders. If you have any you want to add just PM me and I will put them up asap. Also there is a link to a company that can make them with prices and samples of there work. After we get enough ideas i will do a first vote of the top 5 then a second for the final 2 ideas.

I agree with Hoovey, a patch in the shape of Indiana would be cool.

I also agree with Hoovey. The state needs to be on the patch. That would make a great patch or shirt. Now we just need to find someone to make it. Does anyone know, would a local stitch shop make one up?

The two most popular patches are 2P and 3S so the only other thing we need to decide is what size, color, and text font. The company I have looked at has a 12 patch min. and includes 9 colors. If everyone could look at the price sheet on there site and give there ideas we can get a sample made and go from there.

I dont know much about it but I think it would look better if the letters were in a arch instead of straight, over the wings or maybe in an arch under.

We may have a problem here but Im still trying to get more info! I talked with weekly r about some problems with the Outlaws and Hells Angles and the use of the state name or outline. If anyone here knows anything or has some ideas please let me know. The last thing I want to do is get one of us confronted by one or more of these guys and things turn sour.

Do a search for outlaws, and you'll find lotta info, The way I understand it, ya don't want to "claim" a territory, they (1%) get edgy about that. talk with other state reps see how they over came this prob. I have been told that up around Cincy it' raelly bad. Also have heard you can ask "permission " to wear a state /city tag. DON"T put a rocker on ya vest claiming territory. I was gonna put one on the back of my vest with Southern Indiana
Chapter 16 (freedom cruisers)

Was told that would stir up a mess.
Do a search, and look for those threads, outlaws, 1%, iron horsemen etc.

I may be way off on this, but check it out.
And I am in favor of a state patch.

WHAT ABOUT STARTING WITH A SHIRT WITH 1S AND HONDA VTX ON BACK AND A 2 INCH INDIANA LOGO ON FRONT LT. SIDE OF SHIRT?

I don't think patches are a good idea at all if you are rocking the state or M.C. on it. I know a good amout of 1% ers and they dont take to kindly to that kind of thing. I have seen peoples patchs ripped from there vests and made to leave the event. I would be very carefull in your design

I agree with Racer04. But then again, so should everybody else within this great country. What the heck?

Anyway, I like 2P. The writing should be arched, with just a tad bit larger on the letters. Maybe if the letters were just outlined instead of Bold. Just my 2 cents. I wish I had drawing skills, I might make a better living. HA.

Well i guess its time for my 2 cents. This kind of stuff really pisses me off.My family has shed blood on battle fields,my Dad was a pow for my freedom and now its come down to some biker telling us what we can or cannot wear.wtf...Like I could be a threat to their teritory.Never mind on my part I'll keep wearing my old brown coat.

Here's a thread already started and lots of replys to it, from last summer.

Go to the top of this page and click on the search feature (not the google search)

put this in the search criteria "ANY VTXER's RECEIVE $***** FROM LOCAL 1% CLUBS?" w/o the " marks

I still am in favor of a state VTX patch.

Actually in search criteria, type "VEST", (w/o " marks) and look for topic

ANY VTXER's RECEIVE $***** FROM LOCAL 1% CLUBS?

Thats the title to the thread.
