Hey there, just found this stream on the web.
Bought my 1800c on Sturday and it hasnt stopped raining here since.
Its parked in the shed looking very shiny and new waiting for the sun.

Looking for a change in sound, any one got any suggestions.

Howdy Noops

Welcome aboard. Got any pics of the bike?? Always good to see what others are on. Not good when it rains - it has been pissin down up here today so a ride was a no go. I bought my 1300 with a set of Cobra pipes already on and you can definitely hear it comin, goin and standin still. Depends on what your after. I would suggest to do a search on pipes and/or post questions on the 1800 board. You WILL get feedback.

I'd recommend Vance & Hines Bigshots BUT use the quiet baffles!!!! The standard ones are straight through and are LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just put a set of V&H Bigshots + Thundermonsters on my Bike Since I was tired of cars nearly taking me out when overtaking, because they "didn't know I was there"
Now they FEEL me even before i'm close, and my bike sounds like a V8 skiboat.
I love it!
plus it added a heap of power!

I have a 02 1800 C and put the V&H Big Shots on and love them. Yes a little loud but very effetive. It's raining here to so I feel your pain. Only thing isn't it summer there? Have fun on your new ride it's a blast. I really like Melborne, got a chance to spend some time there a couple of years ago. Vic Market, Phillip Island and the Great Ocean Road. You live in a wonderful area "Mate".

Went to Melbourne (Geelong actually) in March for the Ulysses AGM. The Great Ocean Road was a blast. Caught the train  (tooo many tin-tops)into Melbourne to visit Elizabeth Street. You blokes are spoilt.

Hoping to head back that way in April-May next year.
