HEY! JUST TOOK THE X INTO THE STEALER TO HAVE THE VALVES ADJUSTED AND TO MY SURPRISE YESTERDAY I TOOK THE ENGINE COVERS OFF AND LOOK AT WERE YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKE THE COVER OFF TO ADJUST VALVES, TO MY SURPRISE I COULD NOT SEE ANY WRENCH MARKS ON THE BOLTS. THAT STARTED ME TO LOOK CLOSER AT THE TANK AND TIMIMG COVER BOLTS, NO WRENCH MARKS? IS THERE A WAY OF MAKING ADJUSTMENT WITHOUT REMOVING THIS ITEMS? I THINK NOT!

No, but there is a way to remove the cash from your wallet!

The bastards do that crap all the time. I'm lucky as heck to have a great mechanic in Troy, AL. I trust him and the dealer.

It may be a little outta the way for you, but Ward's Yamaha-Honda in Troy, AL is a good place to deal with. Audie Ward has a mechanic named Ronnie who is known all around Montgomery and Troy for being very good. And my impression of the place is that they're honest. Ronnie is a detail freak, too. He saw how I take care of my bike and he checked every little thing the only time I've had it down there since buying it from them.
