03 or 04?

guys im really getting exited about getting a vtx :D what i need to know from you guys is which is best. been getting a lot of conflicting advice off peeps on the web 1 uk bikes are faster than imports?2 03 bikes are the fastest of all?3 the electrics of early models is suspect. im out tomorrow looking at bikes so i need to know if any of this is right or not. was gonna put this in general but i think we need the posts :wink:

Steve the 03 OR 04 should be a good bike for you.
it's a big bike a lot of power, and a good time .If you can get a 03 cheaper , go for it chances are you or some one with a 04 will not see a power difference.
go to 1800 vtx FAQ it has a lot of good reading + things you should know.
I wish you luck -- do not use syn oil until bike is broke in ,.
