New Oregon VTXer

Well, we've made the big retirement move from SoCal to Philomath. Now I have to get used to riding with chaps again.

So is this where the Oregon X Riders hang out or is there an Oregon VTX site? I know it's winter, but do you guys still ride between rain storms up here? :D

Welcome to the rain, we don’t do many rides during the winter but there is a ride someone posted for Dec 4th. We do have another site http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/oregonxriders/
If you sign up on the other site you will get email when someone posts something (good way not to miss rides).

Welcome to the liquid sunshine state geez. We try when we can to ride between the rainy days. You will know when it is summer as the rain is warmer. Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah, I'm jonzin to get back on the X but I'll eventually adjust to the weather here. Wish we could have moved up in the summer.

Dale, I'll definately be going to Colorado again this year. I'm also hoping to have a big BBQ and ride-in for my California buds next year so maybe we can get some Oregon riders to join in. Sure looking forward to exploring some of the beautiful roads and county up here. Can't wait.

I'm looking forward to meeting you too......or ANYONE in Oregon with an X. Hope it's before March. I am planning on riding down to Tombstone AZ. for the AZ Xriders bash in April. Looking forward to hooking up with my SoCal buds and see the old Arizona party animals again. Anyone in Oregon want to tag along, let me know.

I was hoping to go to Portland and do the toy ride...but it was suposed to rain so I didn't. Then wife(she who must be obeyed then set me up to do other things on Saturday...I was bummed when it was beautiful. Well I did get in a 45 min ride at least. So my bike is not so mad at me...It gets really pissed when it sits in the garage on a nice day :D

Well its Saturday morning around 7 am...I have to ride today...I cant take it any longer riding 10-15 minutes here or there. Well I am going to go to the coast??? today...wondering if Geez or Dale or anyone from the midsection want to meet up...and wondering if anyone from the north might want to meet up at the coast??? Thinking of starting around 9 or 10 ... I will check back in a few...PM me for my cel number ...Fire them up!!! :D

I would have loved to, but I just got back from Cal in the cage. Had to bring my mom up to her new house. I'm going to try and get on the X this week!

I think it was 68 degrees and I burned three tanks today surely we couldnt ride 2 days in a row OR COULD WE ????
