are big shots legal in the uk

g,day,i am coming to the uk in 05 for a ten week tour which will include the north west 200 bike races,the isle of man tt and approx six weeks of visting old mates etc.i will be bringing my vtx 1800c with me(black,v&h big shots etc). :) :) :) :) :) :)
in queensland where i live the blue meanies dont seem to police the sounds of pipes like they do in other states of aus.

however i am concerned about the uk regulations could some one please advise.what sort of reception can i expect,a ticket or go away? :oops: :D :D :D

the great weather here in qld means we can ride most weeks but in the winter it does get really cold i have seen days of 19 c , :D :D :D :D a few weeks ago in spring the temp was 40c .we dont have the range of dress up parts for the vtx .cheers i hope someone can help.

Should not be a problem its only sports bike the coppers seem to pull in the uk .

Hi Irish

The blues can pull you if they want to for the sound of your pipes - I bought my X with V&H's on & took them off because they were too loud for me, but also because I never got V&H to actually admit to me that they were road legal.

However, because you will be bringing your own bike over, and I assume will have an Ozzy plate on it, they will probably leave you alone.

PS - if you don't mind me asking, how much will it cost you to bring your bike over?
