Hello Fellow VTXers from the Volunteer state,
Just wondering if anyone of you are going to try and make the ride to Marysville, Oh. to participate in the world record ride to the Honda plant. The Honda homecoming is July 29-30, 2005, and an effort is under way to organize a world record ride of VTXs into the Honda plant on Friday, July 29th. There is also a contest on the main board to design the most awesome t-shirt design for us to wear. Hope that alot of you can make it. Also, from reading other state boards if you are interested, you might want to make some reservations now, because motels are filling up. Hope to hear from ya'll. Until then, ride safe and GOD bless.

I already have reservations for Fri & Sat night. I am working on getting a group of bikes together to ride up & it looks like there is probably already three of us for sure.

Hello St. Louis Dave,

I'm glad to hear that ya'll are going. I sure hope that we are able to set the record. I can't wait to see all the bikes. I'm also looking forward to touring the plant. By the way, is that 10th voice saying " HOLD YOUR EARS!!!!!"?

I'm trying to decide on either the Hoot or Marysville. Unfortunately, I will only be able to go to one this year. Sturgis is already the other in August.

What kind of time frame is everyone looking at. We're planning on heading out from the St. Louis area on Thursday sometime. We've discussed riding to Indianapolis(ish) and staying over night. That would put us close enough to Marysville to cruise in on Friday morning. Then we're staying Friday & Saturday nights to leave early on Sunday. I know it is still early, but it doesn't hurt to have a feel for things.
