:D Well the weather has been a little cool for long rides, but I got out yesterday and ran about 100 miles. Went down a several miles of gravel roads yesterday over in Elk county and jumped a couple of cows that had gotten thru the fence glad I was going slow. It wasn't that bad except for the wind. Looks like we have some of that white powder stuff heading our way late tonight. We do have a CMA ride today it's a short trip should be home before the weather hits. So get out there today and get some riding in while you can.CC

What are you doing on this at 5:30am in the morning. I rode yesterday about 60 miles and Friday about 125. Friday was good yesterday as you know was windy. I plan to ride as much as I can this winter. Glad to see I am not the only one who has a hard time putting it up for the winter.

I'm healing faster than the doc thought I would. I get my stitches out tomorrow and, the way things are going, I figure I'll be back on two wheels in a couple weeks. I was "supposed" to be on crutches for 6 weeks....5 days was enough of that lol. See ya all soon I hope.

I got in about 100 miles on Thanksgiving day. (wife had to work so I had nothing better to do) On Friday I made it about 125 miles. I didn't get out today as we are putting up Christmas lights. I've done ok I think, I am over 5300 miles since the 30th of July. I plan to ride as often as the weather lets me. I don't have leathers yet so jeans only stop so much cold wind. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for another decent weekend soon!!!!!
Take care and see everyone soon I Hope.

Have you ever considered long johns? I find they work well. I would think they will help even without the leather and besides they are just so sexy :D . Keep warm.

I've considered long johns but I don't want to get too sexy and drive Christy wild. You know what I mean!!!
Hopefully this weekend will be another ride day!! Looks like the mid 50's forecast right now.
My rear tire has maybe another 1k left to go before I change to the Metzlers I bought on sale. I want to get them changed when it's really cold so I'll be ready in the spring. My son and I are planning on a trip the first week in June to Sturgis and the black hills area.
Be safe and ride warm

I plan to get some ride time in this weekend. Can't expect too many more days that will be this nice. Sturgis will make for a good ride. Sharon and I are planning on going up this coming summer as well. It will be more towards the end of summer before we will be able to get away. How many miles do you have on your tires? I have got over 10,000 on the stockers and can get another 1 or 2 out of them. Enjoy the weekend be safe on that tire.

I presently have 5300 miles on the bike since 30 July 04 when I bought it. The tread wear indicators are starting to show so I still have some good rubber but not a lot. I need to ride on the sides as there is plenty of rubber there????!!!! Ha! I had over 3,000 miles on the tires before I found out that the pressures recommended were to low. Once I started running 40 to 41 in both front and rear the bike handled much better and the cupping started going away. If I had known it earlier I would probably have gotten better wear.
We are looking forward to the weekend!!!
