Hi guys,

I'm a newbie on the board and I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Steve and I own a 2003 Honda VTX 1300 Retro. I am a road captain with the South Jerz (pronounce Jer-Z ) Riderz. We're a club based out of mostly southern New Jersey. We're a mix of metric cruisers and even sport bikes who enjoy the company of people like ourselves who love to ride the open road.

If any of you guys have any rides or events in mind, feel free to contact us if you are interested in some company. We ride all year around and we put on tons of miles. Well I don't ride in the winter. I prefer to keep my face as close to room tempeture as possible. :)

Our website is www.southjerzriders.com (http://www.southjerzriders.com) so check us out if you like. I really appreciate you guys having this forum so fellow VTX owners can get together and compare notes.

Thanks again and take care.

Steve,
Welcome aboard. I'm in Central Jersey (Monmouth County) and ride with the Monmouth Shore Points M.C. Great group who ride year round as well. As you may have noticed, not a whole lot takes place here on the Jersey site, but lots of great ideas and info on the 1300 site.

Ride Safe & ahve FUN

I like your ride Tullandar. I don't like windshields but you got that nice little boulavard windshield. It's nice and sporty and it doesn't kill the lines of the bike. That Corbin Cowl is very nice too. I don't think that thing would look good on my retro but it fills in that space nicely on yours.

Thank you all for the welcome.

Thanks for the compliments Steve. The windshield is by Windvest. And I think there's a guy over at the NJ XRiders site, Technogeek, that has a orange retro with the Corbin cowl. You may want to check it out.

Hey dude. It's nice to see an X club in Jersey. I checked out your website and you seem to be a good bunch and as safety conscious as we are. That's nice to know. We'll have to plan something and get us all together.

We've had some harley guys ride with us before and they can't ride in a formation to save their lives. We had to tell them to split :)

The 'X' is the best.
