Ackshully, I was out this past Saturday. Standing outside it felt kinda nice, so I donned the leathers and wheeled out the X for a little late-autumn toot. By the time I got back home, I wished I had a set of electric thermies! But it felt good to get out for possibly the last time this season.
Can't wait for spring!!

i should be going out sunday. the Blue Knights are having thier annual polar bear run (no jumping in water) not sure of route as they have 2 depending on weather. i gotta get better directions but supposed to start at a church off jefferson ave. i think. wouldn't have ridden today even without the rain, some big gusts of wind out there, woulda been tough staying in a lane.

Well it's good to see that there are a few of us still around. It looked like the RI contingent had dried up and blown away.

I try to ride once a week, usually 20 miles or so before I start icing up....sucks getting old. Am going out today..can't remember the last time I rode in Dec....think it was in 1980 and I had to move the bike from one place to another to protect it from divorce court proceedings. That sucked worse than the cold.

When you got married did you change your habits.....hope so or it wouldn't have worked. Ever see the commercial with the guy sitting in the blechers with the wrong colored shirt...hehehehehe.

uhhh, i do close the toilet lid now  football's a whole different thing though and all 3 of my kids the same way. they live in Philly, my oldest son who's 19 likes the Jags, my youngest son (17) likes the Steelers and my daughter (14) likes the Panthers. they've liked those teams for some years. just cause ya live somewhere doesn't mean ya jump ship on football. and yep no matter where i am i wear my steelers ball cap or a sweatshirt and if could afford a ticket to a game close to wherever i was living and pittsburgh was visiting team i'd be there waving a towel supporting my team :D
oh, sometimes i do like rubbing wrong way. yesterday went on run and only vtx there, only orange colored bike there, etc. most were either HD or Wings. had quite a few look at my ride and i proudly showed her off  :)

I have been away for awhile since my dad died unexpected and young (55) in late October. I missed all the fall riding while I was down in St. Pete Florida taking care of my dad in the hospital and making arrangments. Everything is as back to normal as can be and I look forward to getting out and riding again.
I have some winter plans for my 1300 which include a custom 2 tone paint, lowering, pipes and bags. I like the look of the harley bags and although I have never seen boss bags in person I think I may go with them.
Hope every enjoys the holidays and I'll be lurking and posting again
Happy Holidays

sorry for your loss. found out few weeks ago my dad has cancer, alrerady in lymph nodes etc and he's young too about 61. best of luck on your projects. rode from westerly to newport and back friday and if dressed properly i've found 40 degrees isn't bad riding weather. cleaned her up bit this morning and put cover back on since white stuff may fly tommorow.
