Hey Noops,

I have been looking to change the seat on my 1300 - have not had any luck finding much locally. Anything that is around is pricey - I am considering ordering an Ultimate Lowrider from HDL. They are a reasonable price (...for the 1300 anyway). I assume you have checked out the seats they offer - if not look here...

Your looking at an additional US$70-$80 (1300) and US$100-$120 (1800)for postage to Australia which still makes them cheaper than seats on offer here. Another advantage is that you can read the posts on VTXOA and product reviews on HDL about the seat you want to order.
The only thing in dealing with HDL is that they require a copy of your credit card and photo id to be faxed for international orders before they will send it.

Hope this helps.

I can get freight on the slow boat for pretty good rates but it take s couple months, which is ok for heavy stuff.
I bought a almost new Roadhouse slipon for $125 US, waiting for it to arrive. We have a contact that brings in Chevys and parts in container every month

Also have ordered some Kdrive bags thru Honda directline.

I think Im, gonna get a passenger seat from Ultimate. $200 US plus $86 US shipping. Just waiting for an ETA from Ultimate.

If you set up for PAYPAL you dont need to send a photo ID or copy of Credit Card.

Guys,

There is a guy in Capalaba who does seat remolds. I was going to look into him when I get back from OS. Sorry, but I don't have his name with me, but he's on Old Cleveland road, and he does have a web site.
Try looking in the yellow pages under 'motor trimmer'

Fellas, I just brought in a set of HK Exhausts (Retail $1400 here) paid about $650 including freight. Thought I did pretty good until a couple of days later when I got an account from HDL freight for $160 for the customs and import duties. Still cheaper but was not expecting so soured the taste a little bit.

So if you buy the seat OS reckon you will need to factor this in.

Hi Guy's
Iv'e been getting a fair amount of stuff from HDL lately and I havent had to give photo ID or copy of card yet, I just ring'em, order and give card details, the only problem is with the time difference, they dont open till about 12:30am.
While i'm here, anyone from around Lismore [NSW]?

Got the new seat now and it is a beauty. Wife loves it ans really enjoys the longer rides now.

It came via UPS in 5 days and paid no extras on it at all.

Very happy.

Also got my road house slipon the other week and now I can jear the beat within. Love it.
