The wife and I picked up a steal on Wilson leather jackets and chaps this past weekend, $265.00 total for two jackets and two chaps. Now we are wanting to go somewhere.
I may go to Topeka to get some winter riding gloves on Saturday. My fingers are getting cold in the morning. It's a 35 mile ride to work.

If anyone has any ideas or plans please let's try one more time before it's really too late??

What do ya think??

I would be interested in a ride Sunday depending on the weather conditions and where we were going. Wichita is about 100 miles for me to get there. Maybe we could meet somewhere in between and do lunch??? Then go for a ride from there. If you have a ride planned from Wichita where would you go??
Any ideas??

I am still planning on going to Topeka on Saturday to the Honda shop and maybe the air museum. Who Knows???

Let's make a plan to do something, it could be the last chance this year.

We could even meet at Cassoday and go somewhere for lunch from there???

As you can tell I'm interested in doing something, even on Saturday if that works better for every one.

I might be talked into something on Saturday. I have to do a photo thing on Sunday but, with a little extra duct tape on my foot, I think I could fake good riding skills for a Saturday thing. Besides...the wife is working all weekend. If nothing else, we could go check out the hot chocolate stand. :D

I will be headed up to Topeka on Saturday to stop by the Honda shop. If anyone wants to join me, there is an air museum we could possibly check out. I have two thoughts for Sunday. There is a KS motorcycle museum in Marquette, KS that will be open on Sat. 9-5 and Sun. 1-5 (Ph: 785-546-2205) or the KS auto racing museum in Chapman, KS. which is open from 9-5 Sat. and Sun. (Ph: 785-922-6644). Here is my cell phone # if anyone wants to call and make some plans. 785-787-0431
Hope to hear from someone, it's always better to have someone to ride with. My wife will be working so I got a kitchen pass for the weekend.
HA!!

Sounds good to me. I have your cell phone # in my phone now. If I don't answer When you call I may be riding. I'll call you back when I stop and check the phone.

We will have to keep an eye on the forecast but it still sounds good to me.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Hey Joe,

I had a great ride today!! Thanks for meeting me for lunch and the visit to the Kansas Motorcycle Museum. What a bunch of stories Stan and his wife have. Maybe this spring we can all meet for the breakfast on the third Saturday of the month and see the additions to the museum. Hopefully next time the wives can make the trip.

Any of you guys that haven't been to the museum in Marquette, it is a nice trip. They are expanding the space for more motorcycles right now. There is a wall full of trophies that Stan has won through the years racing his bikes. As his wife puts it "there is at least two nice homes on that wall".

Take care,

Allen

Allen I had a good time today, windy but good. Stan is a character you can’t help but to admire the guy. I looked at the forecast for next week and it looks about the same as this weekend, 57 Saturday and 60 Sunday. Sharon will still be out of town and if the weather holds she won’t be surprised to see nothing was done on the honey do list. She may think I don’t have my priorities in order however she does know what they are. Looking forward to the next ride.

Guys, sorry I missed the ride to Marquette, since it is so close to me I would have loved to gone. But that's the breaks.

Anyway, let me know if you get the "hots" for a cool ride in the future. My home tel # is 785-658-3800.

Hey Scarecrow,
I'll be off Sunday and Monday and the weatherman is talking high 50's so I'm going somewhere just to get some riding time in. If you are interested or anyone else in the area let's see what we can put together.
Christy has to work the 24th, 25th and 26th so I'll be going crazy sitting at home. I washed and waxed the bike last week so it needs some sunshine as bad as I do.

I have your phone # and my cell is 785-787-0431.

I'll wait to hear from yourself and others.
