I am looking at doing some different risers and mini apes on mine. I think it would add to the style I am looking for and allow me to adjust the reach a bit. Still leaning towards the Corbin Young Guns seat also. Since I am TALLER than most, (still fit as a fiddle...lol) But Need the leg room. Anyone else changing things up? :tools1:

Hey there punk :D I was just gonna PM you today. Hadn't seen your font in awhile. Hope you and Sue are doing well. Changes...well, you have seen Patty's Corbin seat, Memphis Shades windshield, chrome lowers, chrome switch covers, and MC engine guard on the Aero, and now she has the hand guards for the cold. My X I put risers on, the Memphis shield and lowers, and those ugly bags lol. It's getting a Hypercharger Pro and a de-smog for Xmas. I saw someone had 8 inch risers the other day and Hal was showing the Harley bar "converter". Might give you some more options on bars. And...your shield is still in my garage hahaa. Have a great holiday season. See ya soon.

Who's the punk???? I am not the one milking a little surgery.....lol Oh, what, That was my suggestion...lol I need to get those brackets. Just been buying everyone else stuff for holidays. Having 6 kids and a new family to buy for is mindblowing, plus I HATE shopping! We are good and I am hoping to get with you guys soon. I am thinking we should start up garage tours....We do that with our car club and basically just cruise to a couple of members garages, check out their projects, etc and then go eat somewhere. Makes a good day and usually someone ends up helping someone else and it really builds a good bond between members. What do you think? Spring is just around the corner.....Later...T

Hahaaa Must be nice to be sitting at home doing nothing. I had to come in and drink coffee and pretend to work lol. I think the "garage tour" thing sounds like a great idea. Come to think of it...I might be convinced to shoot a few photos of some bikes for folks if bribed properly

I can't even imagine the hectic life you got going on with all those kids hahaa. Give us a shout and we will see about finding a "calm" moment in there.

Oh yea...and I'm "healed". I even went out and rode my bike weekend before last.

The X has been in parts in pieces for a good majority of the past 2 months, I have quite a list of changes I want to make. I have already installed the L&R extreme forwards and new Kury stiletto pegs, and installed my custom radiator cover, all of which were super easy. I also have progressive 412 11" shocks and new taillights waiting to be installed. I have been planning the new paint job with a friend of mine that has painted several cars for us, and it's going to be sweet. I have the new Dagger sidecovers waiting for that. I have also talked with several guys about the best way to rake the front, but I doubt that I have time to do that before spring. All projects will have to wait tho, I am headed to the mountains to ski for the next few weeks  Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

P.S. If ya'll still need Xmas gift ideas for me, I really need a 240 kit, I prefer the Cycle House swing arm, Mongo fender, and Weld wheels with a SuperHub. Thanks guys!

Still thinking about a paint job this winter I've got a spare front and rear fender bought ready to go. Been trying to buy a spare tank on e-bay but there going pretty high. I do have a few other projects I'm thinking about doing if I can. CC

I guess I am not getting my seat as I had thought for x-mas, but I guess i can tough it out a bit longer. We have Starbirds coming up, so I will be focusing on the showcar for a bit. But as soon as its over, wrenches will be twisted, I promise....lol

Just a few minor changes here.

New clutch springs
Oil, filter, plugs, brake fluid, etc.
New LED lights (home-made) for the beetle bags
Sending the seat back to Corbin for some mods
New tach mount from Cyclecraft

Oh, and a new XM radio from Santa!

Stay warm my brothers. Spring will be here sooner than we think!

CC, I have a buddy off of Joel mack road on the new bypass that does a great job painting. The shop is Professional refinishing, but my pal Ray Johnston does a good job on scooters on the side there. he has done two for me. I also have my future Bro-In-Law in Wellington that has told me he will do some of my pals bikes at a decent price....and this guy is awesome with a paintgun. He does private collector cars and showcar work. He did Sues bug and several of our car club vehicles. he is really good with ghost flames, etc. Thats Classic body Works in Wellington. His name is Steve Nicholson. Just tell him Sue and I sent ya....Later...hope you are all having a Merry Christmas!

Ghost flames is what I've beeen thinking about getting. What city is Professional refinishing located in? I'm just outside of Wichita so going to Wellington would not be a problem.
