It's been a real blessing getting out to ride and getting to meet some of the fine folks here on this board this year. Judy and I had a blast and are looking foward to next riding season. Thanks for starting this thread Charlie. Patty and I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas as well. I couldn't agree with Charlie more. It has been wonderful meeting all of you and riding together. When we decided to get back into riding this year, little did I know how many fine people would be sharing the road with us. Can't wait to get together again.....well OK, I can wait a little while. 7 degrees is a tad chilly for me :D

We wish all our new friends and aquaintences a very Merry Christmas as well. We are looking forward to spring but I havent given up riding altogether. Just picking the warmer days to ride. I have almost reached the 6,000 mile mark since July 30th.
Christy had her letter to Santa starting off with a Candie Apple Red VTX 1300C however, it would not fit on his sleigh! (Budget Either) but we are hopeful for next year.

This year has brought lots of ups and downs for me and my children, but I can say, (and I am not that religious), that I have been blessed this year. I got my VTX in March, got engaged in April, got to take my entire tribe, 8 of us, to Frontier City in June, take a mini vacation in July to Branson, and this Christmas I was able to get my kids almost everything the asked for on their lists. Before you all think they are spoiled, This is the first year I have been able to do that. Many downs this year as well, but they suck and I don't like kicking dead horses.....lol But throughout all, I have made some good solid friendships. I even patched up some old ones that had gone wrong. This board and the rides with you all have been a major highlight and given both Sue and I something to look forward to, a laugh, and a sense of belonging. Thank you to all of you for that. I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. This has been my first year back on a bike in about 20 years. I must say it has been fun and I look forward to more rides and meeting more fellow riders this next year. When we take time to count our blessing they do come from unexpected places. I hope you all find your blessing to be many.
