Ride to Abilene and beyond..........

this weekend. I hope the weather holds until Saturday. I plan on meeting RealMcCoy in Abilene and doin some twisties. The I may travel on to Topeka to shop for a MyFi.

I'm ready and my son might join us but it looks like the weatherman may ruin it for us. We'll just have to keep an eye on things and see what happens.

A great ride. I got in about 6:15 PM, just after the front passed. The temps dropped like a stone.........from 62 to 44 in less than an hour. I could really tell when it passed while on the bike.

Well, we started the year off right with a great ride. Hopefully this will not be the last venture into the "hill" country. But now it's time for the winter "projects". The bike is already on the stand and this weekend I'll start.

I had a great ride as well but wish it could have been longer. My ride on Sunday fizzled out and the weather sucks for a few days so I'll have to wait till next weekend. I get the metzlers installed next Saturday so I hope I can get out and ride a little with the new shoes.

Glad you made it back safely , We will hook up more this spring for sure.
