Judy and I headed out this morning for the last ride this year the weather was cool but nice. Took Hwy 160 over to Independance where we dined at the world famous Micky D's then rode around town where we twarted two attemps by cagers making left hand turns in front of us. We did visit with a guy from there that rides a c model good looking ride he had bought from the dealer in Missouri. Then we fueled up and headed down Hwy75 near Caney Ks then back west on Hwy166 thru Sedan ( my birthplace) then on to Cedervale where we took a short rest before coming home. Over all a great day and a great ride. Took time to polish up the old Retro we got a CMA ride to Ponca City OK in the morning first ride of the New year!

Sounds like a good way to "ride out the old"!
I plan on "riding in the new" tomorrow with RealMcCoys.
Hope the weather holds.

I rode to work Thursday, got soaked going in...lol Then rode a bit yesterday, more to clear my head. I screwed up and put a big, nice scratch in the showcar with a grinding wheel.....Needless to say, I wasn't very happy...lol But it felt good to be in the wind yesterday. I am hoping we have plenty of riding days ahead of us. Happy New Year!

Well our group ride to Ponca City first ride of the year is is in the books. The wind was horific to say the least but we all made it. Had 13 people on 8 bikes make the trip. Had lunch at Bruam's where we met a biker from Newkirk OK. We have invited him up to our next CMA meeting at Ark City. The ride home was a little more plesant as we had the wind to our backs we did get a lite sprinkle as we came home. Looking forward to some group rides soon as spring is just around the corner.CC
