Lots going on in April. HotGlue's BBQ in Friendswood , Tx is the first weekend and the Cheaha Mtn Rally in Alabama is the third weekend. Maybe I should take the whole month off????? :D

I think this is put on by the same guy, Larry L, who put on the LAP Rally at SUGARena in New Iberia until last year. Don't think the LAP went over to well due to the arena having dirt floors and lotsa mud when it rains. The dust didn't help for the bike show part either.

It looks like I will be home so we are [planning to attend. We are trying to finagle one of the camper spots. If that happens we will be there all weekend and have a place for people who may have drank too much.

We have our camper spot paid for and plan on registering on Thursday morning. There will be at least my X there and possibly a buddy too. If you guys want to look around the campers for a silver 1800 retro, that will be mine, and you are welcome to stop in.

Hey Heath,

Booked a room for Friday and Saturday night at the new Howard Johnsons across I-10 from the Harley-Davidson dealership at the Scott/Cankton exit. Also, a new Hampton and Red Roof Inn in same area.
And plus, the Best Stop, a little store that makes some of the best boudin and cracklins around (plus cold beer) is about a mile north of there. Lafayette Honda is 2 exits east. 4 or 5 miles from Hotel to the Coliseum were the rally is being held.

Might also check out downtown alive in Lafayette Friday night. Lot of Bikes.

If weather turns bad---will cancel out.

come pass a good time,

I've got some at home. I just got offshore today so it will have to wait a week.

It was fun. Not really a whole lot to see but the music was fantastic.
I did manage to get some pinstriping done to my bike. At least it now looks different.

Hey Gumbo----Heath caught my feeble attempt at Zydeco dancing Sat. night.

Had a good time. Missed seeing Cajun 64 but saw a couple of other Xers.

We have a few more pictures of some bikes-- try to post them later.
