I would like to help you on this but I live in Broward. The one and only time I used for this was Rick Case at Weston...and was good. However, and trying to be of help, what I found for you in your area is Palm Beach Motorcycles 5616831642. I'm note sure if they do that service...but there it is.
Defenetlly I would recomend you to do it with a Honda authorize service ONLY...basically because this is something they cannot "play" with...legal side...insurance etc. you know what I mean. Tires are the only thing I don't do to my bike...and you know we want those tires very well done.....good luck.

Jorge,

HDL has tires if you can't get them. Might be time for the White Walls!
Down here you can bring the wheel & tire to Champion on Davie or Competition near the FLLL airport. Call me if you have questions.

Hey Father X,

I've been thinking about the White Walls myself. What brand and where did you get yours?

I think the WW's look really good on a Dark Pearl Blue bike.

Hey, have you removed your PAIR valve yet?

Jorge

Take it to the Honda dealer on Military over by Bonefish. Contrary to a lot of parts, dealers are usually pretty competitive on tires. Their price typically includes mounting and balancing which is an additional charge if you buy your tire on line and ask them to mount it for you. Especially on short notice, I'm sure a dealer can get it done for you today so that you can ride tomorrow.

I know what the tubes are for....what's the flap for?????

Bill, you should really consider the de-pair surgery...the 1300 sure runs a lot smoother. I'm gonna help SteveX do his 1800 as soon as he get's the block-off plates.

The flap goes inside the rim over the flat portion (of the rim). That's where the spokes are fastened to the inner rim. It protects the tube from abrasion and from the rivet portion of the spoke.
The problem is when he takes if off and (if) finds wear on the flap, and you don't have it your screwed. You then have to make a descion to mount the new tube over the worn flap and take a chance. Not me... for 5 bucks I go with it. Save the old one of you do.

I may call you when I'm ready. Just short on time right now... a thing called a job?

I'm delaying this because I'm looking at these as my next project.

tubes do make it hard to repair on the road. Thats for sure, I think I see a new invention coming. I'll get back to you on that.
