I was just thinking that I have never been so excited for spring. At this time last year, my only scoot was a Suzuki DRZ 400 enduro. I had been a dirt and trail rider for 30 years but never thought I would like road riding until I rented a Harley last fall. One ride and I was hooked. I couldn't get the wife's ok for a Harley but I did talk her into letting me get a Honda Shadow Spirit 1100 the end of February. Great starter bike and would do everything the $16,000 Harley would do for less than half the price.

I put a quick 7000 miles on the Shadow and had a bunch of fun, but when the chance came along the end of July to snag a brand new 2003 VTX1800 C for $6999 I couldn't resist so I sold the Shadow jumped in my truck and headed for Columbia MO for the deal of a lifetime. In terms of fun for the buck it is hands down the best toy purchase I have ever made.

I look forward to good times as soon as the weather permits. It was great to get to meet a few of you and I look forward to getting to know you all better and meeting lots of new folks as well. Let's hope for an early spring.
