Every Wednesday night I hear a bunch of bikes riding by my neighborhood, and I see them in traffic. Where are they all going? Are they all going to No and Slidell? Is there ANYITHING here on the coast? A bike nite?

There is a bike nite in New Orleans at McGuire's Pit Stop on Wednesdays and one on Tuesdays in Wiggins at Mr.Whiskers Cafe.I've never been to either but know a couple of the guys there.

Pit Stop is on River Road.

Yeah, I've been going to New Orleans Pit Stop for years. I just don't feel like riding out there all the time. I wanted something more local if there is anything.

The Pit Stop is on Jefferson Hwy (which changes name to Claiborne Ave a little closer to N.O.). It's pretty close to Clearview at the foot of the Huey P. Long bridge.
Typical Wednesday night is 600 to 800 bikes. Special times there may be 1200 to 1500 bikes there. (Steel Pony weekend for instance).
