Well, we are about 90 miles apart as the crow flies. I know I have seen some guys from Panama City on the forum, from time to time. I think the Dothan, Alabama guys are also within striking distance. SURELY we can get something together to meet at a central location for a ride and/ or a meal SOMETIME. The days are getting longer and other than today the weather has been unbelieveable... even for us. I hope we can get some bites for a group ride sometime. I think it would be a lot of fun. And Beekeeper, thanks for snagging us our own site on the forum. Ya done good... now if we can get some folks talking on here, right?

Hey XTRMX, I founds some names on one of the other web sites about two weeks ago, and sent out an e-mail. I got a response from 3 guys and we got together last week and road for about three hours. We talked about trying to get a big group together in our area. Now that we have our own board we might be able to get a bigger crowd together. Hope to meet up with you and others from Panama city, P-cola,Destin,Niceville, Crestview, and yes, even lower Ala. I'll be putting on tires and doing the desmog, and clutch springs Saturday. Lets get set up to meet in the near future.

Beekeeper, let me know how the desmog goes.... I think it is out of my league so I could probably use some help doing it sometime before spring. No tools and no skills... that would be me for sure. I would also like to do the grounding fix while the tank is off. Let me know what's happening. Thanks.............. Mike

Hey Mike ,
Just finished with tires, Desmog, and Clutch springs. The desmog made a differance, almost no more decell pop at all. Went with the 200 metzler rear tire and the stock 150 on the front. Would be more than happy to help out with yours. Looking forward to meeting up with you and others on the board . Will put a ride together as soon as I can, and maybe ride over your way. All the work today was done with the help of a friend of mine, named Randy aka Wydeopen. Thanks Randy! :pepper1: :)

The wife and I are over in Milton (actually Bagdad). I have an '04 1300 C and she has a Retro. We ride a lot when the weather is good. Favorite rides are to Destin (lunch at the Back Porch), out to Gulf shores (past the Florabama  ), and up past Brewton and out Alabama highway 4. Let's hook up.

Kenny, Glad to see you finally got the new post page. I am looking forward to the ride next weekend. I have sent out some e-mail requesting info on our own chapter. I'll let you know what I find out. I took the baffles out of my pipes today to give them alittle something extra. They sound pretty mean.

Pensacola here. I know i will have to do something about this stock seat before any loooong rides.
I am thinking of installing a gell pad inside the seat.
