My dad passed this morning at 11:00am. 1/16/2005
he was 84, he had fought Parkinsons Disease for 18 (yes 18 ) years, Prostate Cancer for 12, and 3 heart attacks.
My dad was the chief of surgery at The Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine in the 70's and then in his retierment he was the chief of surgery at Regional Memorial in Brunswick, Maine
He passed with his family around him, and quietly. he is now with the love of his life My Mom. Married 55 years (she passed nov 23 1999 from ALS)
he is at rest and it was the right thing ...but..man it SUCKS! I miss him already.
Thanks to all of you I needed to talk about it !
