I'm thinking about doing this ride, but can't stay the night. It's not that far and I think we can make it in about 5ish hours. It's only around 250 miles down to Marysville from my area.

I'm planning on leaving real early Friday morning and will be riding back in the evening. Do any of you other Michigan guys/gals want to do the same?

If so, we need to get timing for the sign in, and start of the ride to the plant. Once we get that, we can make up a route, and set up places to join together for the ride down.

I love to plan for the coming season, we only have seven months to the big event.

rickie-- at least three others will be going down on friday, and quite a bunch are going on thursday. are you going to the meeting in birch run?? we can do some planning there. we need more guys to go down there, i heard pennsylvania had over 150 going!

Hey Kingcarlon, check out the sticky message that Lamonster put up. He is trying to get as many VTX's in a little ride to the plant for the Homecoming. Then we can have a plant tour of the plant where they make the VTX's and Goldwings. Should be fun.

I'm thinking about going down Friday morning. We could meet just down from the boarder at the exit of 475 and I-75. It's just under Maumee, I think.

Have to run my idea up the flag pole, but maybe we could meet up there at around 6:00 - 7:00am for breakfast and a fill up. From there it's only around 100 miles and we could all go down as a group.

Just a thought, someone else will have other ideas as to how we can all hook up. It's not until the middle of the summer, so we'll have plenty of time to plan.

But, that's half the fun. Can't ride....

Hey guys, I'm not new to the board, but I haven't really introduced my self to you local guys.

When the ride in was first suggested last fall, I made the decision to go. I have hotel reservations for Thursday and Friday nights.

As of now, my plan is to ride down Thursday morning and come back sometime on Saturday.

My plan is subject to change as I am planning some long distance rides with a couple of other guys (who ride other brand bikes...). We may incorporate the homecoming (for my sake) into one of our rides. I'd do the ride-in on Friday and we'd continue on our way, but who knows at this point.

BTW: to you other G.R. guys, if we are not all under water due to the ice jams... I look foreward to meeting and riding with you this coming season.

We have a mass meet up on the outskirts of Toledo. Rickie is bringing a group from the eastside of Detroit. Puzzel is bring a group from the westside of the state. Tracker is bringing some from the Pinckney area and joing a few of us in Milan on the way to Toledo. There are likely a couple of other groups - I'm not sure about Chromehead coming from Lansing. KSU Toledo 7:00 SHARP. ETA Marysville 9:00.

i went last year with a few of the guys from the rswarrior site....a guy from the site lives about a half hour away and we all stayed there...we're doing it again and leaving friday morning and meeting up in monroe right off I75...if there are a few of you looking to ride with someone post it up and lets see if we can get a bunch of people to ride down with...who cares what ya ride as long as you ride

I do take a little different way once I get to Findlay and it's not that big of a deal but it does get you off the interstate. 8)

It sounds like you are looking at the same route.
Whenever I go anywhere near Columbus, it's off I-75 at Findlay, then SR31 like you said.
